Fountain Hills is truly an Oasis in the Desert!

Unfortunately, the attraction of living in our Small-Town Desert Oasis is moving in the wrong direction.

The convenience of shopping in local retail stores and eating in local restaurants is decreasing. Business vacancy rates are increasing and many of our businesses are struggling to stay open.

The ugly side of crime is finding its way into our community. Car and home break-ins are on the rise and vagrancy and homelessness are becoming part of our daily life.

The freedom and comfort of walking at night is in jeopardy.

Our infrastructure and roads are in decline and deteriorating.

Solutions include:

• Operating our town with pro-business polices such as finding that balance between the need for signage and how it fits in with the beauty of our community. Reducing unnecessary restrictions and easing the licensing and permit process.
• Working with the sheriff’s department to Increase Law enforcement patrols. Place pro-active Deputies on the road and improve response time for calls.
• Ensure we have comprehensive programs that address vagrancy and homelessness through, ordinances, placement, and educating property owners of their rights.
• Responsible Fiscal Policy requires smart spending where our infrastructure needs it. Prioritize expenditures and eliminate unnecessary spending. Financial transparency is good for everyone.

You deserve common-sense governing in our wonderful community.

When we work together to create an efficient, effective and well-oiled town council, our Small-Town Desert Oasis will Flourish, Prosper, and Thrive!
